Big popularization of Trepča, as a spa resort, besides proven quality of water, was undoubtedly helped by numerous press

and magazines clips - both medical and entertaining kind.Specially interesting ones are those with patient stories and their

experiences in spa water treatment.Some of those we would like to present as is:

Atomic Spa at the International Tourism Fair "World Travel Market" in London

Atomic Spa once again participated at WTM, "World Travel Market" in London, held from 7th to 10th November. The Atomic

Spa was the only representative of Serbian spa tourism at that fair.  This well-known rehabilitation center presented its 

unique treatment offer and the results of the medical research conducted in the last two years. In addition to that, 

this specialized hospital presented its new health resort, a very modern building, fully adjusted to the needs of patients. 

 This was also an opportunity to show excellent results of operations in 2011, the year of the global economic crisis.

Fair in Vienna

Atomic Spa was very succesfull at the fair in Vienna. Their stand was visited by the Serbian consul in Austria,

The Presidentof the Austrian Chamber of Comerce, and several Austrian health funds. For the next period patients

from Austria shoud besent to Serbia in The Special hospital of rehabilitation by their health funds.

Congress in Amsterdam-EXTRIMS 2011

In October, The Atomic Spa presented their own services at EXTRIMS 2011, the World congress devoted to

multiple sclerosis.Extrims is an independent representative European organization that facilitates communication

and creates synergies among clinicians and scientists to promote and enhance research and improve clinical outcomes

in multiple sclerosis. The Atomic Spa was presented as the only center for rehabilitation at that congress.

This famous hospital has attracted great attention among a large number of delegates. Neurologists and physicians

from other specialties showed great interest for the methods, clinical research and results in treatment of a large

number of Atomic Spa patients. This special hospital is expecting the arrival of a large numer of doctors from many

foreign countries which are interested in this hospital and in sending their patients to have very effective medical treatment.

At the 44th International Tourism Fair,held in Novi Sad from the 28th of September to 2nd of October, Special Hospital for rehabilitation received the award for high quality of medical services.

Manuela Wirth is delighted by Atomic Spa

Ms Manuela Wirth, last-year finalist of German show "I have a talent", suffering from MS more than 10 years. This year she

visited Atomic Spa.She said that she felt like in heavens after only a few days stay.

Rehabilitation - the right choice

Mr Christoph Thalheim, general secretary of the European Association for patients who suffering from MS, visited

Atomic Spa, in July this year.This organisation consist of 38 European associations. They help patients all over

the Europe.Also they want to help and patients from Serbia.There are no preccise information about the number of this

patients in Europe. According to research about 600.000 Europeans suffer from MS. Atomic Spa is the unique Spa in

the world, especially for it's thermal mineral properties and hidro therapy. Mr Christoph said:"I know that many patients

prefer rehabilitation, than drugs.The drugs is more and more expensive now, and rehabilitation should be the right choice."

B.Simonovic: "After 19 years, here I run again"

Multiple sclerosis patients make only fifth of Gornja Trepca visitors. They speak only best about this spa. Woman from

Novi Sad, Ana Cucuz (52), mother of two sons, has been dealing with this illness for two decades. Now even a grandmother

she says: - "Believe me, last year, first time after 19 years, here I run again! In Novi Sad, because of my condition,

I don't go out at all, even to store. I come here once a year. Last year I wished to run, and then, a shaky try and I made it.

I didn't want to be seen so I went out when it was twilight and made my runs. I am here only two days so far. Still feel a bit

shaky but I'm sure I will run soon again…"

Started walking in Gornja Trepca

D.Simovic: "Started walking in Gornja Trepca"

J.M., 21year old girl from Veliko Selo, near Pozarevac, suffers from multiple sclerosis. For full five years she was tied to a bed.

She went to many hospitals and visit many doctors. Tried treatments in Petrovac na Mlavi, Pozarevac, Smederevo, Ub and

Belgrade.Last year she was brought into Gornja Trepca. She had to be carried into the bath. After ten days she started

feeling pain in arms and legs. After 15 days she felt much better, but still she couldn't walk. Same year at autumn she came

again into Gornja Trepca. This time it was much better. She made her first steps. In December of 1971. after her third

treatment she left Gornja Trepca fully recovered.

Return from hopelessness

D.Simovic: "Return from hopelessness"

N.C. 44 year old clerk from Krnjaca near Belgrade, had ten years of struggle with spondylosis, discopathy, joint arthritis

and dieases of the gastrointestinalis tract. She visited different clinics, taking shots and drugs but with no improvements.

But after just ten days in Gornja Trepca and 20 hidrotherapy in thermo-mineral wather she went home fully recovered.

After several days she felt better. Pain started to go away. She could move more freely. Even few miles walk wasn't that

much of a problem.Now she goes to work every day and can do most of household works.
